1. About Us

This website is operated by Katie McCormick, trading as Katie McCormick Stylist, based in London, United Kingdom. Contact: [email protected].

2. Website Use

By accessing this website, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use this website.

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the website.

3. Services

We provide personal styling services including red carpet and event styling, editorial and campaign work, fashion shoots, and personal shopping and wardrobe edits.

All service engagements are subject to separate written agreement between the client and Katie McCormick. Fees, scope, timelines, cancellation terms, and other project-specific conditions will be set out in that agreement.

Nothing on this website constitutes a binding offer to provide services. Descriptions of services are provided for information purposes only.

4. Fees and Payment

Fees for services are agreed on a per-project basis prior to commencement of work. Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • A non-refundable booking deposit may be required to secure a date.
  • The balance is due upon completion of the engagement or as otherwise specified in the engagement agreement.
  • All fees are quoted in pounds sterling (GBP) and are exclusive of VAT where applicable.
  • Late payments may incur interest at the rate of 4% above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

5. Cancellation

If you are a consumer engaging services at a distance, you may have the right to cancel within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, unless the service has been fully performed with your prior express consent.

Cancellation terms for confirmed bookings will be set out in the engagement agreement. Cancellations made with fewer than 7 days' notice may forfeit the booking deposit.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, photographs, graphics, and design — is the property of Katie McCormick or used with permission, and is protected by the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on this website without our prior written consent.

7. Confidentiality

We treat all client information and engagements as strictly confidential. Client identities, project details, and any information shared during consultations or engagements will not be disclosed to third parties without the client's prior written consent, except where required by law.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • This website and its content are provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
  • We do not guarantee that the website will be available at all times or free from errors.
  • Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to services provided shall not exceed the fees paid for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.

Your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by these terms.

9. Third-Party Links

This website may contain links to external websites. We have no control over the content or availability of those sites and accept no responsibility for them.

10. Privacy

Your use of this website is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your personal data.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, you will benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you are resident. Nothing in these terms affects your rights as a consumer to rely on such mandatory provisions of local law.

12. Dispute Resolution

If you have a complaint about our services, please contact us at [email protected] and we will endeavour to resolve it promptly.

If we are unable to resolve a dispute, you may refer the matter to an approved alternative dispute resolution (ADR) provider. The European Commission also provides an online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
